We just added August Ames to interobus.ru last week and have already seen a handful of mind blowingly hot scenes featuring her. | What was your first job?
I started out with a pretty normal job actually, which was babysitting. My 2nd job wasn't so chilleaxed though haha:p When I was 14 I worked on a horse ranch in Colorado Springs for two summers... imagine cleaning out those stalls in that heat lol :p The upside was that I also taught differently abled children how to ride the horses, it was therapy for the both of us ;p
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
Almost 6 weeks in the industry, and as for how I guess.. I was just bored one day & decided to give it a shot. Sometimes being impulsive pays off ha. So I had sent in a model submission form to different agencies & boo ya made some plan that following week, left that boring small town ;p
How did you come up with your stage name?
Favorite month- the hottest, reminds me of frozen yogurt, tanning and the beaches. Ames just had the right vibes and it all flowed.
How do your friends and family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
Family is awesome about it, minus the older bros but that's expected. I've always been honest with my mom, we have a really cool relationship like that. My dad... not so much xD I told him anyways, I have a terrible memory when it comes to lying & I wouldn't be able to remember what story belongs 2 who haha. As far as friends back home go, they are being very supportive and I love it:) There will always be those haters everywhere you go, so I learned a while ago to appreciate the positive & ignore the negative.
What does it take to make it in a tough industry like the adult business? What important lessons have you learned so far?
2 in 1 answer: from what I've learned so far, to make it in the adult industry you should have passion, a great attitude, a little extra something, even if it's just one thing that makes you shine a little brighter... have to be a people person wink wink haha... & number one is that you are going to have to be comfortable with your body, take caution when it comes to your health, and never neglect your needs, whether it's a little extra water on set or a douche, you're call haha, we're our own stunt devils :)
Is there anybody special in your life? Or are you looking for somebody at the moment? If so, what do you look for?
no comment.. no comment.. and, I've learned to stop looking & let what-who-ever roll my way
Do you prefer video or photo shoots?
Definitely photoshoots. I like to get in my zone. I prefer acting in the features because those are crazy fun for me, but I'm just a drama nerd at heart so it totally works. l would really love to be more mainstream when it comes to my acting, who knows..
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your body?
Least favorite would be my armpits because they are the hardest to get tanned... annnd I like-accept everything else haha.
Who is your favorite adult star (past or present)?
Oh danngg I don't know to be honest... there's about a handful of porn stars that if I were to meet in person I'd probably pass out or something but yeah... let's just say I should know more about porn than I do :p
What is your favorite sex toy?
Aside from a guy's fingers I'll say the wand. It's explosive.
Do you exercise on a regular basis? What kind?
I did before I came out to LA, yes. I actually also was a zumba and yoga instructor last summer & the winter before that... but now I just sexercise;)
Where did you go on your last vacation (not work related)?
Vegas *D
Do you have any pets?
Back home, yes, a little chorkie (Chihuahua yorkie) named Kristie :) I didn't name her... if I had a say in it, it would have been something ridiculously cute, like polka... or keeshkeesh or something cheesy like that :p
What is the last book you read?
The bible, and the ending was terrible.
Do you have a guilty pleasure TV show? Song?
Eveeryonne should already know this, and really I don't feel guilty about it anymore, but 100% Dr.Phil. As far as songs go, I'll always kick it to the Thong Song by Sisqo.. classssssic.
What is your dream car?
My very own Mercedes would kill meeeeeee :)xox
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Easy. Goldschlager ;D. Talk poop all you want eh, but mix that and redbull together and you have yourself a , cinnamonny- golden energy blaster.
What are your favorite brands of jeans? Shoes?
Silver jeans are the tits!! But I do dig my Columbian hoooochiemama jeans that are diced out & lift my butt :) For shoes I love vouitton, aldo, & blowfish has an amazing boot collection that I just melt when I see them *)
Do you have a hobby that would surprise most people?
Not so much hobby but a bad habit, yes
Do you have any special talents?
I'm flexible, which I love, and I'm currently trying to work on my squirting abilities. Other than that I'm crazy good with my Sudoku puzzles & scrabble so watch out ;)..
What's your ordinary day like? A day in the life of August Ames...
A day in the life of me? Too crazy to even try to explain! If it's a day where I have a scene then I wake up, shower, put some comfy clothes on, hit up starbucks and get my butt on set. If it's a day off set, which is rare haha, then I'm usually doing normal people stuff like chores, call my mom up, get the nails done and just relaxxxxx with my gfs
