| What was your first job?
My first job was making pizzas for Round Table pizza, lol. I actually discovered my favorite kind of pizza during that job and it's the only kind I eat... pepperoni and mushrooms.
How and when did you get into the adult industry?
I started March 24, 1998. My first scene was with Mr. Marcus for Real Sex Magazine 11. I always wanted to be a feature dancer, and porn was the best way to build a name.
How did you come up with your stage name?
My ex's name was Alan. He gave me the name. I kept it after our divorce simply because he didn't want me to continue doing porn, lol. I was always just ALANA. I added the name Evans a few years into my career and I've watched the name grow ever since. There's a whole family of Evans' pornstars now. Im proud to be the first.
How do your friends and family feel about your decision to be an adult model?
My family is very supportive. Being in the business for 15 years now, I have become an advocate for sex workers and performers. I enjoy being a positive figure in our business. I have made my family proud. My husband, Chris Evans, is incredibly supportive.
What does it take to make it in a tough industry like the adult business? What important lessons have you learned so far?
To make it in this industry, you have to be strong minded, open minded, and ready for the roller coaster. The industry is a lot of fun, but you have to be prepared for the stresses of being a sex worker. The job is great, but it's not for everyone. I've learned to not be afraid to take charge of my career, and to never be afraid to say no.
Is there anybody special in your life? Or are you looking for somebody at the moment? If so, what do you look for?
I have been in a solid relationship for 14 years. We met while I was in the industry, raised a family as porn stars, and are looking forward to the future. The openness of my relationship has kept us strong. My husband works as an editor, photographer, and director in our business. We love being able to share our jobs.
If you had not joined the adult industry, what do you think you would be doing now?
If I hadn't joined the porn industry, I don't know where'd I'd be. The industry has been my life for so long, I forget what life was like before.
Do you get recognized in real life? Any funny stories?
I am regularly recognized, but for different reasons. I am recognized from my porn scenes, my gamer life, and my constant appearances on sites like CNN. You can always tell a fan by the look on his face. It's sweet. I am always kind to my fans in public. They are the backbone of my career. I think the funniest story of being recognized was during my filming time for Reality Kings. I was a regular on CFNM.com (clothed female naked male). Once a fan recognized at the airport, followed me around the store, as he hid behind an open newspaper. I finally said hello and scared the crap out of him. I could tell he was a CFNM fan, because of his behavior. I just laughed. I get it. I'm silly when I meet people I am a fan of, so I enjoy it.
Do you prefer video or photo shoots?
I love being in front of the camera so it doesn't matter if its still or video. I love feeling sexy and showing it off.
Where is the most exotic location you have shot at?
The most exotic location where I've traveled to work was Jamaica. We went to Hedonism with Devinn Lane and we had a blast. I was such a slut on that trip. It's a swinger resort so we played with some couples, and I even banged one of the hot local boat boys!
What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your body?
My favorite part of my body is my ass. I was graced by god and given an incredible natural booty that has always held it. My least favorite part of my body is my appendix scar. I had surgery at 14 and I've always hated it. I've thought about having it fixed, but scars give you character.
Who is your favorite adult star (past or present)?
I've had a few women that I've looked up to from past years, but I've gotten to know a few, and they've fallen off the list. I've learned not everyone is as awesome as you think they are in person. lol. Ron Jeremy is the legend they say he is. He's a sweet man, a good friend, and I feel honored to know him. My favorite old school performer is Kaylynn. We were great friends and I loved working with her. I'm happy she is making a comeback! My current BFF is performer Missy Martinez. She's my gamer nerd soul mate.
What is your favorite sex toy?
My hitachi :)
Do you exercise on a regular basis? What kind?
Yes! I love video games, and I dont like the GYM scene, so I play dance games on my Xbox Kinect. My favorite workout game is Just Dance. The newest game, Just Dance 2014, is incredible! It kicks my butt! I lose weight and have fun doing it.
Where did you go on your last vacation (not work related)?
San Francisco. I'm a Bay Area brat so going home is fun for me.
Do you have any pets?
ha! I have 3 pit bulls, 1 pug, 1 tarantula, 1 bearded dragon, and 8 frogs. basically a mini zoo.
What is the last book you read?
Do You Believe In Ninjas, by DJ Kirkbride ( my secret identity is a ninja shhhh)
Do you have a guilty pleasure TV show? Song?
Im obsessed with Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Workaholics, and all the Real Housewives of..., As for music, I sing for Lords of Acid. My song is called Pop That Tooshie! I have an EP of my own that is soon to be released :)
What is your dream car?
A supercharged convertible pink mustang... which I own.
What is your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Im a Ketel One girl... coke and Ketel is my drink :)
What are your favorite brands of jeans? Shoes?
I'm not a label whore, surprising enough. I wear stuff because it looks cool, not because of a name :) If it's got a cape, I'm all about it :)
Do you have a hobby that would surprise most people?
I'm a HUGE gamer nerd. I play Xbox, Playstation, PC Games, STEAM, etc. Been playing since Atari baby. I love attending comic con shows, doing COSPLAY, and making costumes. I run a site called pwnedbygirls.com that features game shows, game reviews, cosplay, and more.
What is something about you that not too many people know?
That's a good question. I'm very open about my life, on and off camera. Here's something.... I sleep with a night light lol.
Do you have any special talents?
I love to sing. That's the talent I'm most proud of. Singing, and schooling you at videogames.
What's your ordinary day like? A day in the life of Alana Evans...
I wake up, do my house chores, and play video games. If i'm not on set, I'm playing some kind of game.
